RCA: 3 types of Revealed Comparative Advantage Index (Balassa Bela,1965), in 3 dimensions (sector, region, and year).

RCA = RCA based on gross export; RCAva_f or RCAva_b = RCA based on value added export(forward or backward). Here, value added export means EXDVA = DVAex + DVArt, in EXin5VA (WWZ, 2013), both forward and backward. In WIOD 2013, there are 35 sectors and 41 regions. In addition to the 35 sectors, there are 5 aggregated levels results (Total, goods, manufacture, all service and some services related to production).
